| So, you're asking yourself, who is this putz? Well, I'm a BIG Star
Trek fan (as if you couldn't tell!). I've been to ST conventions before, and have
participated in the costume contests (third place in Milwaukee!!). Yep, that's right, I
own uniforms! I cheated though, I bought them from a costume company. I'm a past president of the Platteville Jaycees, and past Regional Director for the Wisconsin Jaycees. I'm semi-active with Platteville Community Theater, and I am currently the webmaster for Platteville Dairy Days, Inc. -- Platteville's largest event! Phew! And, I work at a really COOL job - MHTCnet! I'm the tech, and get to do my two favorite things -- troubleshoot and work with people. In my SPARE time, when she can, my wife "drags" me away for some quiet time. That's about it. I'm pretty boring really. Usually I can be found in front of a terminal cruising the web finding new cool sites and tons of new information. I keep intending to have a long "favorite links" page here, but, really, this entire site contains my favorite links! I hope you enjoy your time at daviestrek.com.
