Taking the Mystery out of Downloading and Installing Netscape 2.0

by Dick Davies

Downloading and installing Netscape 2.0 isn't as hard as it seems, but it can be a hassle.

Downloading mystifies the new user, and sometimes stumps the experienced. This guide is designed to take the mystery of downloading and get a fully functioning copy of Netscape 2.0 up and running!

You'll need to do a couple of things before you attempt to download.

1. For those who are brand new to downloading, you'll want to read "A Beginner's Guide to Downloading."

2. You'll need to create a DNLOAD directory on your hard drive. You'll also want to have some time on your hands. Netscape is notoriously slow, and it will most likely take over an hour to download your file. You might even have to make several attempts to download the file!

Once you've established a DNLOAD directory, and you feel you are ready -- prepare to download!
